?Phillips 66 veterans share their stories

Over the last two years, nearly 25 percent of Phillips 66 refinery hires have been veterans, and the Phillips 66 Veterans Hiring Network holds the Patriot Award and the Above and Beyond Award for their outreach efforts.

We proudly hire veterans for their dedication, strategic thinking and for living our values of safety, honor and commitment.

Safety – It's a mindset that we have at all times. For veteran Madison Bailey, operator at the Wood River Refinery in Roxana, Illinois, safety was a part of her job in the U.S. Army. She describes how her enhanced awareness of safety helps her to identify issues today.

Honor – More than the ability to make good choices, honor is a code of personal integrity. Marine veteran and current Marine Reserve Officer Josh Summers, Phillips 66 advisor for Quality and Process Control in Communications and Public Affairs, discusses what honor means to him.

Commitment – With a combined service of more than 41 years to Phillips 66, the Harper family knows what it means to commit to an organization. When two of their sons deployed to Afghanistan, they experienced the support of an organization committed to its employees.
